Wizpresso’s Founder on Metro Finance FM104

Wizpresso is pleased to share that our Founder and CEO, Calvin Cheng, was recently featured in the radio segment “AI Evolution” on Metro Finance FM104, where he discussed how artificial intelligence is reshaping the entrepreneurial landscape. The conversation explored whether AI is ultimately making it easier or harder to build and scale new ventures, and what this means for the next generation of founders.

During the segment, Calvin shared his perspective on how AI is changing the journey from idea to product-market fit — from rapid prototyping and customer discovery to fundraising and go-to-market. He discussed how AI tools can dramatically lower execution costs and speed up experimentation, while also raising the bar on differentiation, defensibility, and trust.

Calvin also touched on how Wizpresso is addressing real-world regulatory pain points for enterprises through a suite of specialised AI agents. These agents assist with tasks such as reviewing disclosures, monitoring regulatory changes, validating IPO and transaction documentation, and streamlining ongoing compliance workflows, enabling legal, compliance, and business teams to work more efficiently while maintaining high governance standards.

The interview further covered whether AI is hurting or promoting innovation, including how automation can free founders and enterprises to focus on higher-value strategic work, while also risking the encouragement of “copy-paste” solutions. Calvin addressed how startups can differentiate from big players in the age of AI by combining deep domain expertise, agile experimentation, and human-in-the-loop oversight to build trustworthy, high-impact products.

We thank everyone who tuned in to the show and joined the conversation on the future of AI-native entrepreneurship and RegTech. For those who were unable to listen live, we will be publishing selected highlights and key takeaways on the Wizpresso website.
