Wizpresso and the Hong Kong Chartered Governance Institute (HKCGI) are collaborating to host this seminar and share the findings from our latest whitepaper on AI governance. As AI adoption continues to accelerate, the discussion comes at a critical moment for listed companies looking to strengthen oversight, manage risk, and build more credible governance frameworks
On Tuesday, 21 July 2026, industry leaders will come together for Navigating AI Governance: Priorities for Hong Kong-Listed Companies, a timely event exploring how boards and management teams can respond to the opportunities and risks of AI with confidence.
The session will open with a presentation by Wizpresso’s CEO Mr. Calvin Cheng, followed by a panel discussion featuring Mr. Calvin Cheng, Wizpresso Advisor and INED of a HKEX-listed company Mr. Patrick Lee, and Chief Commercial Officer of Nova Insurance Consultants Limited Mr. Joseph Lee, moderated by the FCG HKFCG’s chairlady Ms. Christine Chung. Together, they will examine the growing gap between AI adoption and governance readiness, and discuss what credible oversight looks like in practice.
What to expect
The panel will address some of the most urgent questions now confronting organisations, including whether AI governance should be viewed as a compliance exercise or a strategic advantage. Speakers will also discuss board accountability, shadow AI, human oversight, lifecycle risks, and how companies can build stronger visibility over AI use across the enterprise.
Other topics include AI-related liability and insurance considerations, external disclosure, readiness for smaller companies, and what AI-ready governance may look like in the next three to five years. The discussion is designed to be practical, forward-looking, and highly relevant to companies navigating fast-moving regulatory and operational expectations.
- Date: Tuesday, 21 July 2026.
- Time: 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.

Why you should attend
AI is already reshaping decision-making, operations, and reporting, but governance frameworks are not always keeping pace. This event will help attendees better understand where the real risks lie, how boards can strengthen oversight, and what steps organisations can take now to support responsible AI adoption.
For Hong Kong-listed companies in particular, the discussion will offer practical insight into how to integrate AI risk into existing controls, improve disclosure credibility, and prepare for a future in which governance expectations continue to rise. The session should be especially valuable for directors, executives, compliance leaders, risk professionals, and anyone responsible for AI oversight.
