Wizpresso was honored to participate in the Cyberport Visit Programme for Sungkyunkwan University (SKKU) iMBA participants, alongside students from PolyU’s DBA, DFinTech, and DBAI programs. The visit brought together executives and doctoral candidates to explore Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem and the evolving role of AI in business.
Our CEO Calvin Cheng delivered a featured talk on the company’s journey from a Cyberport incubatee to a leading AI-powered financial intelligence platform. He shared how Cyberport’s ecosystem supported Wizpresso’s early development through mentorship, funding opportunities, and a collaborative environment that fosters experimentation.
Drawing on Wizpresso’s research, Calvin discussed the realities of AI implementation in enterprise settings. He noted that while AI has transformative potential, success depends on data readiness, workflow integration, and clear business use cases—not just cutting-edge models.
The session covered how Wizpresso applies AI to real-world financial workflows, with demonstrations on automation and natural language processing to enhance research efficiency. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A on scaling AI solutions and balancing innovation with operational constraints.
Wizpresso remains committed to fostering dialogue between academia and industry on responsible AI adoption.
